Who we are
Polish Society of Orthopaedics
and Traumatology is a nationwide organization of physicians and specialists specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of musculoskeletal disorders in children and adolescents. Our roots date back to 1991, when the Pediatric Orthopedics Section was established. In 2022, these activities were further developed and formalized through the establishment of the Polish Society of Pediatric Orthopedics, which continues and expands the mission of its predecessors.
The Society's goal is to support the development of pediatric orthopedics by creating a platform for knowledge exchange, promoting high standards of treatment, organizing training courses, and initiating national and international collaboration. We are committed to scientific, educational, and clinical activities aimed at improving the quality of orthopedic care for the youngest patients.
Our members include physicians actively involved in the European Paediatric Orthopaedic Society (EPOS), which strengthens our presence in Europe and fosters continued development based on global best practices.
